Mr. Montalvo’s distinguished career spans over 21 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in combat tours during Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as deployments to Afghanistan. His extensive military background and Top Secret/SCI security clearance have made him a national leader in military law. Notably, one of his cases was featured in the award-winning documentary ‘The Kill Team.’
Throughout his career, Mr. Montalvo has navigated complex international law issues, overcoming language and cultural barriers. He has collaborated with various government agencies, foreign embassies, and international ministries, working on matters related to defense, justice, and diplomacy. Mr. Montalvo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with honors from the University of South Carolina. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree with honors from Temple University School of Law, where he gained valuable experience through judicial clerkships and internships with prestigious legal institutions. He also studied international law as part of Temple University’s study abroad program in Greece.
